Repair Facilitation

We understand that accidents happen and no one likes getting their gear fixed! But when that does happen, Roberts is here to make this process easy for you!

Please contact our repairs manager at [email protected] or via our online Contact Form or bring your equipment into our Indianapolis store to be evaluated. We will determine if your item can be fixed under warranty or if you will need to pay a fee for your repair.

We package and ship your item to the appropriate repair facility (you will be assessed a shipping charge that covers shipping to and from the repair facility). When your repair estimate is ready, we will contact you so you can decide if you would like to move forward with the repair.

If there is a charge for the repair, you will pay a 50% deposit on the repair cost at the time you accept the repair estimate.

We will keep you updated as to the status of your repair during this process. When your gear is returned to us from the repair center, we will contact you so you can pick it up and get back to shooting!

Sensor Cleanings

Getting dust and debris on your sensor is a frustrating and common occurrence!

Roberts offers professional sensor cleaning services to make sure that your sensor is cleaned the right way and to ensure that your images do not have spots on them.

If you are in need of a sensor cleaning, you can drop your equipment off to us at our Indianapolis store any time during business hours. No appointment is needed and many times this service can be performed same day.

The cost of a sensor cleaning is $49.99.

When dropping off your equipment, please make sure that you have a fully charged battery in your camera.

Lens Calibrations

Having tack sharp images is one of the cornerstones for many photographers!

If the focus of your images seems off or if you don’t feel your images are as sharp as they could be, you could be in need of a lens calibration. In simple terms, this service ensures that the camera and lens are talking to each other properly!

If you would like to have a lens calibration, we recommend calling us first at 800-726-5544 so that we can let you know if your equipment can be calibrated. Only certain DSLRs are able to perform calibrations and mirrorless camera systems do not need to be calibrated. Once we determine that your equipment can be calibrated, we will recommend a time to bring your gear in.

If you have multiple bodies and lenses, it could take 48 hours to complete your calibration service.

Lens calibrations are $39.99 per lens, per body.

For example, if you bring in one lens and need it calibrated to two different DSLR camera bodies, you would pay for two lens calibrations.
