The Digital Still, Video or Lens equipment covered by this service contract is guaranteed to operate according to manufacturer?s specifications for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. shall repair, service or replace same to operate properly.

This Mack Camera & Video Service Inc. service contract covers:

Limitations of Coverage
This limited service contract applies only to the product specified herein. This service contract will cover one digital camera body and one lens providing that both pieces of equipment are listed on the same sales receipt. This plan is void if the registered product exceeds the service contract price category. Such service, repair or adjustment of the equipment is assured the registered contract holder. It does not cover units whose serial number has been altered, defaced or removed. This service contract does not cover accessory flashes, additional accessory lenses, batteries, lens caps, filters, power adapter, digital media, DVD?s, tapes, software, remotes, docking stations, cables, firmware upgrades or additional accessories.

This service contract does not cover equipment which is damaged by:

  • Intentional abuse, misuse or damaged beyond recognition
  • Liquid Damage
  • Fire
  • Lost
  • Stolen

Limit of Liability
Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. will not be liable for loss of revenues or profits, inconvenience, expenses of substitute equipment, loss of use, incidental, consequential damages, loss or damage to software and digital media. If the equipment cannot be restored to manufacturer's specifications or is deemed by Mack Camera, in its sole discretion, to be beyond economic repair, or if the unit has been repaired 3 consecutive times for the same repair and it requires a 4th repair for the same problem, Mack will replace your unit with a reconditioned model or equivalent model which will only cover manufacturer defects for the balance of the service contract or refund you the current market value of your covered equipment in U.S. Dollars

This service contract is not an insurance policy or a warranty. This service contact is only valid if positive identification of the unit covered hereunder is presented at the time of service along with your proof of purchase. Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. reserves the right to terminate service contracts if invoices are not paid within terms or are fraudulently altered by the dealer or service contract holder. The laws in your state may extend your rights or modify the terms of this Service Contract. In the event of a conflict between the terms of this Service Contract and the laws of your state, the laws of your state shall be controlling. What is a Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty Plan?
The Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty is an extension of the manufacturer's warranty and provides additional coverage for future product failure resulting from manufacturer defects. The advantage of purchasing a Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty is that parts and labor are covered for the lifetime of the warrant.

Can I get coverage if I purchased my product somewhere else?
Yes, a Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty must be purchased within the first 30 days of the purchase of your equipment. If you should require service under your warranty plan, you'll be requested to provide a dated proof of purchase for your equipment, the extended warranty, and your warranty registration number. Please be sure to retain all copies for your records.

How do I register my Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty?
Complete the bottom portion of the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty Registration Card and mail it with a copy of your sales invoice to the address on the registration card. Please be sure to retain a copy of your sales invoice as well as your warranty registration number for services or regsiter online at www.mackcam.com.

What happens when I need service?
If you require service within the United States, please call our service department at 800-252-6225 ext. 16. For additional information, please note that each warranty card has explicit instructions on how to obtain service within the United States. For customers outside the United States, please e-mail Barry Warner at [email protected] to obtain authorization for having equipment repaired at a manufacturer's authorized repair facility.

What happens if the product cannot be repaired?
If your equipment cannot be repaired, Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. will replace your product with the exact model. If your equipment is no longer available, we will replace your equipment with a similar product of equal value, at our discretion. Please note, the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty is not an insurance policy and we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

What is not covered under the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty?
The warranty does not cover products which have been misused, tampered with, modified, or damaged as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact, or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operation by the manufacturer. Accessories are not covered unless otherwise specified in the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty. Accessories include, but are no limited to, external flashes, data backs (which are not built into the equipment), batteries, loss of film (or tapes), lens caps, rear caps, filters, AC adapters, or other external cords. Please refer to the individual Warranty Plan you wish to purchase for a complete list of coverage terms.

Is the Extended Warranty transferable?
Yes, the best way to add value to any piece of equipment is to be able to offer the new owner warranty coverage. All of the Mack worldwide Extended Warranties may be transferred to a new owner for a $15 transfer fee. To transfer the warranty, please write a letter to our wrranty department at 200 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081 requestin the transfer of your warranty. Indicate the name, address and phone number of the new owner, the type of equipment, serial number, and the warranty number. Include a copy of the bill of sale and a check for $20.
