The digital still equipment registered below is guaranteed to operate properly according to photographic specifications for a period of 1 years from date of purchase (excluding the first 45 days from purchase date).
In the event that this equipment requires any repairs or service it must be delivered post paid with warranty #, the owner's name and address, proof of purchase and description of difficulties encountered to Mack Camera & Video Service, 200 Morris Ave., Springfield, N.J. 07081 with a check for $10.00 for shipping and handling in the continental U.S. (cost subject OT change) overseas shipping to be determined. The equipment will be restored to proper operating condition at no charge to you (this includes warranted parts and labor). Such service, repair or adjustment of the equipment is assured the original purchaser only, provided the equipment has not been, misused, tampered with, modified or damaged as a result of accident, water, sand, impact or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual operations. This limited warranty is not transferable. Mack Camera & Video Service reserves the right to terminate warranty contracts if invoices are not paid according to terms and not valid until after receipt of payment from dealer. Parts pending availability from manufacturer.
This limited warranty applies only to the product specified herein. It does not cover flashes, batteries, lens, data backs and additional accessories, or other expenses or consequential damages. SLR lens requires separate warranty. Camera must be less than 10 years old at the time of purchase to qualify for this warranty.
A separate service contract is available for interchangeable lenses.What is a Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty Plan?
The Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty is an extension of the manufacturer's warranty and provides additional coverage for future product failure resulting from manufacturer defects. The advantage of purchasing a Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty is that parts and labor are covered for the lifetime of the warrant.
Can I get coverage if I purchased my product somewhere else?
Yes, a Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty must be purchased within the first 30 days of the purchase of your equipment. If you should require service under your warranty plan, you'll be requested to provide a dated proof of purchase for your equipment, the extended warranty, and your warranty registration number. Please be sure to retain all copies for your records.
How do I register my Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty?
Complete the bottom portion of the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty Registration Card and mail it with a copy of your sales invoice to the address on the registration card. Please be sure to retain a copy of your sales invoice as well as your warranty registration number for services or regsiter online at www.mackcam.com.
What happens when I need service?
If you require service within the United States, please call our service department at 800-252-6225 ext. 16. For additional information, please note that each warranty card has explicit instructions on how to obtain service within the United States. For customers outside the United States, please e-mail Barry Warner at firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain authorization for having equipment repaired at a manufacturer's authorized repair facility.
What happens if the product cannot be repaired?
If your equipment cannot be repaired, Mack Camera & Video Service, Inc. will replace your product with the exact model. If your equipment is no longer available, we will replace your equipment with a similar product of equal value, at our discretion. Please note, the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty is not an insurance policy and we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
What is not covered under the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty?
The warranty does not cover products which have been misused, tampered with, modified, or damaged as a result of accident, liquid, grit, impact, or lack of proper care as indicated in the manual of operation by the manufacturer. Accessories are not covered unless otherwise specified in the Mack Worldwide Extended Warranty. Accessories include, but are no limited to, external flashes, data backs (which are not built into the equipment), batteries, loss of film (or tapes), lens caps, rear caps, filters, AC adapters, or other external cords. Please refer to the individual Warranty Plan you wish to purchase for a complete list of coverage terms.
Is the Extended Warranty transferable?
Yes, the best way to add value to any piece of equipment is to be able to offer the new owner warranty coverage. All of the Mack worldwide Extended Warranties may be transferred to a new owner for a $15 transfer fee. To transfer the warranty, please write a letter to our wrranty department at 200 Morris Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081 requestin the transfer of your warranty. Indicate the name, address and phone number of the new owner, the type of equipment, serial number, and the warranty number. Include a copy of the bill of sale and a check for $15.
